Community Hope Receives Grant from
The Codey Fund for Mental Health
Parsippany, NJ – Community Hope, Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to serving individuals with mental illness and homeless veterans, has received a $25,000 grant from The Codey Fund for Mental Health.
This grant will help Community Hope and its housing program for adults with mental illness. Currently, the organization owns/operates 35 homes in Morris, Sussex, Warren, and Somerset Counties, and includes 66 units of special needs affordable housing.
“We are thrilled to work with such an exceptional organization, as it furthers our mission to help those living with mental illness,” said Kevin X. Codey, board member of The Codey Fund for Mental Health. He elaborated, “We have to protect the most vulnerable among us, which is exactly what Community Hope aims to do.”
Organizations such as The Codey Fund enable us to provide the gift of hope and a safe home to individuals who might otherwise struggle to find stability in their daily lives,” says Carmine Deo, Community Hope Chief Executive Officer. “We work closely with those we serve to ensure their homes are comfortable and supportive places for them to live. We ensure that each person receives the supportive services they need. Thanks to the Codey Fund for Mental Health, we can carry out our mission and help some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens. Everyone deserves hope, and everyone deserves a home.
