The Sparkle of Hope Dinner Auction was founded by Fred Hassan in 1997 to expand on the gains which the healthcare industry had made in improving treatment for individuals with mental illness by helping ensure sufficient community-based housing and services. In the past fifteen years, the event has raised more than $5 million and has evolved into a signature event that has brought together the pharma industry’s most talented leaders in support of a common cause.
This annual benefit has enabled our charity to expand our residential recovery programs sevenfold to reach those most in need of a safe haven. Last year’s event raised more than $500,000 with 450 corporate leaders and individuals in attendance.
Our noble mission and the impact we have had on the lives of thousands of individuals, veterans and their families has been made possible by the success of the gala.
